Dear First Year Teacher Contributor:
Mrs. Erin Cole
As a young child, Erin Cole’s family recognized something within her that she hadn't fully grasped at the time: her destiny as an educator. Her family saw the love she had for people and her deep-rooted desire to serve others. Today, that love for people extends far beyond her loving husband and four beautiful children. Teaching has become her true passion! She is a proud veteran teacher with over 25 years of experience. She was born and raised in the charming, rural town of Campti, Louisiana. Her educational journey began at Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where she earned her bachelor's degree. Building upon that foundation, she acquired a Master's in Educational Technology. She then continued her academic pursuits and earned a Master's in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She is actively working towards completing her Doctorate in Administration.
She has not only served as a teacher but also as an Instructional Specialist and a principal. Through unwavering dedication and a passion for educational leadership, she played a pivotal role in helping to elevate a struggling campus to a “Recognized” school. This remarkable achievement resulted in the nomination of the” Blue Ribbon Award,” a testament to the hard work and commitment of the entire school community.
Motivated by her passion for nurturing young minds, she embarked on a new venture, establishing Nasa Kids Academy. As the founder and director, her mission is to create an environment where students can thrive, succeed, and discover their untapped potential, allowing them to make a positive impact on the world. As she continues to learn and grow, she remains dedicated to her calling as an educator!
